Just being able to go back for an armor seed every now and then is a lot nicer than camping cg. bowfa without armor is better than crystal bow with armor...but that accuracy hit will hurt a lot on bosses. From CG the arm seeds are 1/50 drop rate, which averages 300kc for all 6. At 300kc you should be at 2k shards at least.
