Hard to say with any certainty,every installation and TXV is different. Have had similar TXV's that would change quite a bit with a nudge, and others it took more cranking to see a change. My experience is to adjust,wait for at 20 minutes or better and recheck,all at full load.Sporlan thermostatic expansion valves are designed for use on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration units. I relpaced a txv Friday (brass stubs to copper lines). I used the safety silv 56 with the orange flux coating, used a wet rag also sprayed with cool jel and wrapped the txv well with it.
