Espinas LBG. Elemental pierce is awesome, but unless you are running with as much damage skills as possible, you'll run out of ammo on most hunts. And it's so squishy because it requires the health drain skills. That being said, I can kill both crabs with Astalos LBG in under 2 minutes.

Id love to know what numbers you are hitting with this build on the training pole. I know its not 100% indicative of a hunt because the ratios are off but still will give some insight. For comparison im running a strife 2 MoH 1 Dere 3 build that is hitting 202 on the pole after clearing bloodlust with 100% crit and using crit element.With pierce you need to get a long trajectory to really get use out of the ammo. 2.5k LBG uses in MHRS. The sets vary a lot. Try to use pieces that give critical eye like the Risen Teostra pieces. Risen Kushala pieces give Spare Shot and Attack.
