The house has been under the care of the city since 2000. The Michigan Maritime Museum renovated this keeper's house as the Marialyce Canonie Great Lakes Research Library. Commercial Boat Traffic: Upon proper notification the bridge will be opened to all commercial boat traffic. The bridge was built in 1958.
