Unlike one-trick-pony Franklin and Disco, Vidar is one of the most versatile ships in the game. Yes, it's for fighting Borg which has all sorts of benefits. BUT ALSO it's: The best OPC hunter in the game. A critical ship during territory defense and when defending teammate's bases. A totally serviceable PVP interceptor, roughly equivalent to a D3.The Talios has much, much higher damage, penetration and mitigation stats. Plus the ship ability (the damage buff vs Borg) is higher on the tier 1 Talios than a tier 9 Vidar.
