It turns on fine, but once I hit the starter it just clicks. Have checked all the usual things. I have had the bike over a year and am afraid to ride it. Sometimes it starts and sometimes not.Nothing is easier to diagnose than charging system issues, at least at first. Get your multimeter out, set it to DC Volts. If it actually does have a dead spot, rebuild kit will not help. 3. Troubleshoot the problem in order to find and repair only the fault that is present. Your valves could become damaged if you never check the clearance/redo the shims on them. Or maybe you like to rev it up loud before the engine is warm. The problem is it has a low throttle low speed hesitation. It runs good at highway speeds but when getting going it sometimes hesitates/stumbles when I give it just a little throttle.
