Bg3 slow loading
Title. It takes me around 45 secs - 1 min to do a quicksave. No idea what's going on. Turned off all the cloud stuff, steam and in-game. Tried renaming the folder in appdata so the game made a new folder from steam cloud. Didn't change a thing. Firewall and anti-virus are all allowing the game. Appreciate any info PS: It was still saving before the recent hotfix even with the longer time to do ...Ideally, with all modern games should be loaded onto an m.2 or SATA SSD as the older spinning disc Hard Drives will take a long time to load games. My BG3 is loaded on a SATA SSD and I am loaded up in about 20seconds (though I haven't put a stop watch on it). Played the EA with on an HDD, got slow texture loading. Bought an external SSD once the full game released (about £70/$50 for a quality terabyte drive), runs fine. Long load times are normally based on the hard drive. Check what model you have. If it is in fact a hard drive, I highly recommend you get a solid state drive. Thats the single biggest increase you can achieve, and fairly cheap.
