The biggest failed streak i ve seen is 39 failed attemps while average is 20 clicks (5% each) so, buy it or do guaranted one. Its locked in. And it doesnt feel as good but its a set cost of 2b for the first one. So I started the Guaranteed Pen Quest and turned in my TET Dandy and received the reform stone one. Also, yes the armor and weapon quests are separate. However on the red nose vs. tree, if you already have an extra tree armor at tet, you can basically tap it down to tri and use the untradeable tree armor instead. This might save you money vs making a new red nose, but it depends on your situation and market. Once a piece of gear has been upgraded to Reform Level V, you'll be able to accept the "Old Moon's Brilliant " quest from Jetina and exchange it for PEN (V) Boss Gear. Tip!
