In addition to the instrument panel not matching any 2130 pictures I have found, the fenders also look a little odd. And the wires going to the safety switch in the transmission are routed under the cover in a way that I just don't think John Deere would have approved. I'm not complaining.I recently had to swap out the instrument cluster on my JD 3038E. After doing so the tractor now starts unlike before, but no i have several lights on and gauges not working as they should. Also check circuit breaker board (2nd photo) for loose connections on LH side in front of dash accessed by removing cowling in front of dash. Also check for loose ground wire on instrument panel ...

I'm not quite sure exactly where it goes on the engine but the book says on the timing gear cover.
