I have shot the 139 SST with this load and the performance is about the same.
My wife's 7mm-08 shoots the Nosler factory 140 gr AccuBond load sub-MOA, and the hand load that DrMike developed for her rifle is the 140 gr Sierra Pro Hunter over 47.2 gr of IMR4350 and F210M primers at 2.276" coal, produces 1/2, groups. Jan 20, 2013 · Idaho, USA. IMR4895 is a perfect match for the .308 and 150 grain bullets. If somewhere between 44 to 46 grains doesn't shoot straight something is wrong with the rifle. It should give right around 2800 fps from a 22" barrel. Do start lower, though. The Sierra manual tops out at 43.7 grains, Nosler at 44.5, Speer at 45 and Hornady at just over 46. 2,692. Hey, Has anyone ever used H4350 with 140gr projectiles in 7mm-08? How did it go? I'm going to save all my 120gr TTSX for my 280 AI, so I'm thinking of loading up 140gr E-Tips in my 7mm-08.
