Gmc truck fan won't shut off

I replaced the ignition switch with a new one and I am still having the same problem. I put the new switch in, adjusted it forward and backward to find the start and stop ... When I turn the engine off on my 19 GMC Canyon V6, the fan for the AC keeps running and winds downs after about 15-20 seconds. The time it takes to stop depends on how high the fan blower setting is. I’ve never had that happen in any car or truck I have owned.

The cooling fan runs for about 5 minutes after the ignition is turned off. The temperature gauge also bottoms out at 160 when this happens. I have replaced the cooling temp sensor, and that fixed the problem for a short while.
