You're paying for fit, finish, the best 2011 carry-oriented (aka, not super rough) grip on the market today, the amazing Staccato trigger, optic ready, and a new slimmer grip (compared to C2 and other 2011s) with a 16 round flush-fit magazine. Is it worth the money? One of my carry pieces is the single stack version. Great shooter and light. 8 + 1 is plenty enough for me, if not I have the wilson x9s that accepts 15+1 in a subcompact package that will outshoot the staccato. Both great carry pistol that shoot really great. I like the c2 but I'm thinking of getting rid of it. Staccato involves playing each note briskly and leaving a small pause at the end. That being said, Staccato offers some of the best out there. I have some barrels going strong after 1,500 rounds but all barrels will wear. DLC wear just has more contrast that stainless steel.
