The original Archer, Emiya is one of the two 4* servants most people have been looking for in rerolls. His skills are the main reason he’s good, though two of those skills are not all that great until they get buffs down the road. He’s totally obsoleted by higher-rarity servants and existing low-rarity servants do his job more-or-less equally well. He’s among the most forgettable servants in the game.He’s a good buff away from being a great Quick Archer—an Interlude with a solid niche, for instance, would make him instantly much more valuable—but as-is there’s just no reason to go for him.
