Nosediving. Have to drop the mag, clear the round, close the slide, insert the mag, and rerack to chamber correctly. One 2nd round chambered OK on its own.Run Federal HST 147gr 9mm and just recently installed the Galloway 22# recoil spring and the M*Carbo trigger spring kit. I've run into an issue with the spring kit, the new M*Carbo sear spring is actually making contact with the ejector limit pin (so much so that it actually wedges beneath it and the ejector loses all spring tension).Same problems with 380 micro, FTE and FTF. Tried different ammo. Frustrated by the thought of sending new Kimber in for service. Lost confidence in the Kimber for self-protection due to unreliability. Shopping for different micro or compact, maybe a 9m or just carrying my J frame revolver for EDC--simple "Point and Shoot."

It was for a Sig P938 and is about 1/8" longer than the stock Kimber spring and fits with no problem.

I'd expect one of our Micro 9 owners will chime in with a documented number. The .380 is going to be much easier to chamber a round for sure. If you have limited hand strength I'd suggest the .380.

It is pretty easy to disassemble a button, but I don't recommend you to do it if you don't know how to put it back. There is a small compressing spring inside in the button. So within the line up the Micro .380 seems to be the most problematic. That being said if you look at other manufacturers line ups you'll find the trend continues.
