Just posted about the same thing. With this new update there seems to be some glitch where certain players just disappear during games. They'll be on the depth chart but aren't playing. Last year people said it had something to do with fatigue, but the only time I saw it was in the playoffs.

I don't want my starters getting hurt by I also don't want to spend time reshuffling my entire depth chart manually. Just turn off injuries for the preseason. But don't I still want to play the backups so they get skill points? I just did the 20min quick game option. Don't think I lost anyone significant during the preseason.
