Yes they appear on the radar/map. They spawn around the map in the various rooms the orphix can be in. Just keep an eye out for them on your map and if there isn't one in the current room you might need to run off to another room to grab one. They respawn too so while you might have to wait or move rooms you won't be out for the rest of the match.
