January 2012. Hi everybody! I'm a FTM due on the 10th, and I am currently between 70-80% effaced and 5 cm dilated but have not had any real distinguishable contractions. I've had a vague crampy feeling off and on today and yesterday, as well as some Braxton Hicks (I'm very accustomed to them now!), but nothing painful, nothing tight all over.

I've been woken up with painful contractions a couple of times and Tuesday I had contractions 10 mins apart for 2 hours before they stopped. I've also been losing my mucus plug for a couple of weeks, but it hasn't been bloody. I'm 37 weeks and yesterday found out I'm 5cm dilated and 80% effaced. Hoping I go soon.
